RAILWAY URBAN
DESCRIPTION
5
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention falls within the technical field of the road superstructures specially adapted for trams on paved streets, as well as in that of 10 road protection devices, and refers in particular to an insulating device for throat rails of railway tracks located in urban areas, easily removable and insertable during maintenance and repair operations of said lanes.
15 BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The superstructure of the road for the circulation of trams, light meters and other means of collective transport of passengers that circulate on rails and by the surface in urban areas, is the element that supports the direct loads of the mobile material and 20 therefore suffers a considerable and unavoidable wear over time,
mainly due to the passage of convoys.
For this reason, the rail-naughty assembly and all its associated elements, constituents as a whole of said superstructure, see its functionalities diminished, requiring its reform or even replacement at certain times. How
As a result of these repair work, the option of replacing these elements with parts that reach a greater degree of compliance with functional requirements, while reducing their manufacturing, commissioning, and repair costs is proposed.
30
The lines of the means of collective transport mentioned above are generally located in full urban fabric, mainly on roads, either sharing space with other vehicles or segregated with respect to the road. This insertion implies the need to properly integrate the platform of
road in the road spaces, so that they are compatible with each other and that there are the least possible interference.
The lanes of the track must be inserted in the pavement to allow that in the crossings 5 with vehicle roads they can cross them without problem, and on the other hand, in the areas without crossings, it should also be inserted to allow the pedestrian crossing and provide a better image, placing a coating of various materials.
The lane used for the roads inserted in the urban area is known as the 10-throat lane, which includes a counter rail to guarantee the free space that the rail wheel flange needs while driving. Its geometry allows paving on both sides of the lane and thus allow the movement of road vehicles. The "throat" on the inner side of the lane is intended for the tram wheel flange or light rail.
15 The insertion of the throat lane in the pavement forces to take measures in terms of isolation of it from the environment to avoid the propagation of residual electric currents to the outside, partially absorb the vibration and noise caused by the rolling of the trams, so as to keep it independent of the surrounding coating. For this, the rail is wrapped around its entire contour, except for the rolling surface, with a device made of a material with insulating capacity.
In general, the most common solutions consist of prefabricated rubber elastomer devices, as well as the creation of a device through the in situ pouring of polyurethane elastomer in a fluid state, so that the rail is embedded in a layer of the elastomer .
Prefabricated rubber elastomer devices are marketed in several different models to fit the various rail profiles. As a general rule, a current device (100) wraps around the entire rail (200) with the exception of the rolling surface and is formed by a plurality of parts (101, 102, 103) interconnectable, as shown in the attached figure 1, which refers to the current state of the art.
The pieces (101,102,103) wrap the rail (200) along its entire length, except for the clamping area, since there is the point where the rail (200) rests on the seat plate, which in turn rest on the naughty or taco. Laterally, the parts (101,102,103) of the device (100) wrap the rail (200) for its entire length, with the exception of the clamping area, where it is interrupted and only covers it by its upper half, since in the lower one it is located the restraint
When maintenance work is carried out on the throat rail, such as welding rail recharge, to restore its original profile after suffering wear, it is essential to heat the rail at high temperature, which is usually done by a flame coming from of the combustion of gas.
Consequently, it is necessary to remove the insulating device from the rail to be able to heat it in its entirety, as well as to avoid deformations in the device, which being made of rubber can be altered at the high temperatures to which it is subjected.
The extraction of a standard model of insulating device must be done laterally, and requires to carry out a partial removal of the lining of the platform, since 20 without it it is not possible to extract it, with the consequent increase in costs, execution times and possible cuts and delays in service.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention consists of a removable insulating device for throat rails of urban railway tracks, whose geometry facilitates their extraction and subsequent vertical placement on a throat rail, avoiding the need to remove linings and, consequently, facilitating the maintenance work, reducing costs and expediting deadlines, while meeting the necessary functional requirements.
The device comprises elements that can be linked to each other and that can be attached to the throat rail, said elements being preferably made by molding a mixture of rubber crushed with resin. These elements are a head profile, a
throat profile, intended to be arranged facing the head profile with the rail interposed between them, and a lower sheet, intended to be disposed in a position lower than the rail.
5 The head profile and throat profile are very similar conceptually but differ in their dimensions, since they must be adapted to each of the respective sides of the throat rail, which is not symmetrical. The bottom sheet of the device is the only element that does not need to be removed prior to maintenance, since it hardly suffers the effect of the increase in the temperature of the rail, since the rail 10 is less heated by being farther away, and in addition it does not suppose any obstacle for the heating operation, because it is placed under the lane.
The device is simply supported on the rail, without the need for any type of sealant, glue or similar adhesive, which allows its removal and introduction in a vertical direction. Additional prominent tabs or sectors prevent it from moving freely or leaving the lane in a situation of use, but with the help of tools it is possible to act on said prominent sectors to extract it when necessary.
20 The incorporation of a topcoat layer is also contemplated in order to seal the joint joints and prevent the entry of water and waste. In a preferred embodiment, said layer is made of polyurethane elastomer.
Thus, the described insulating device facilitates the extraction at any time to perform maintenance or replacement work, without the need to undertake
lateral eliminations of the track lining, as well as the reinsertion on the rail after finishing the mentioned works. It should be noted that the coating removal operations are very laborious and expensive both from an economic and environmental point of view, since they consist of removing concrete, with the 30 consequent expenses in energy and machinery, as well as with the generation from
environmental and noise pollution and the creation of debris and expensive waste to be removed.
It also maintains the functional qualities of the devices currently
existing in relation to electrical, acoustic and vibration transmission insulation. From an economic point of view, it represents a considerable saving, both in the aforementioned maintenance operations and in the device itself, since it contains less material.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
30 A detailed explanation of a preferred embodiment of the object of the present invention is provided with the aid of the aforementioned figures.
The removable insulating device for throat lanes of urban railway tracks
that is described is intended to be linked to a throat lane (200) of the type used in the tram, light rail or similar means of transport in urban environments, to prevent the transmission of electric currents, noise and vibration between the lane and the surrounding environment.
5
The throat rail (200) comprises a head side (201) and a side throat (202) lateral and opposite each other, a lower skate (203) and a groove defined in its upper face, referred to as throat (204) , intended to accommodate a flange of the wheels of the moving material. The throat rail (200) is linked to the firm by means of through screws 10 (205) perpendicular to the wings of the skate (203).
On the other hand, the device, shown in figures 2 and 3, is formed by a head profile (1), linkable to the head side (201) of the throat rail (200), a throat profile (2), linkable next to the throat (202), and a lower sheet (3), intended to be arranged in a position lower than the skate (203), linking the head profile (1) and the throat profile (2) to each other by their respective lower ends.
The head profile (1) and the throat profile (2) have an essentially similar geometry, although they differ slightly in the dimensions of some of their elements, 20 since they must adapt to the characteristics of each of the sides of the rail of throat (200).
As can be seen in the attached figures, each profile (1,2) comprises an essentially polygonal geometry body, said body having an internal face (4) 25 intended to face the throat rail (200), and an external face ( 5), intended to be oriented outwards.
The inner face (4) comprises a vertical flat sector (6) at whose lower end a longitudinal housing (7) is defined, attachable in the slide (203) of the throat rail 30 (200), while in the vicinity of the end superior of said flat sector
vertical (6) split tabs (8) of lace with the head side (201) for the case of the head profile (1), or with the throat side (202) for the case of the throat profile (2) .
The inner face (4) also comprises a cavity (9) defined in the vertical flat sector (6) intended to accommodate the heads of the fastening screws (205) of the throat rail (200) with the firm.
5 On the other hand, from the external face (5) of each of the respective profiles (1,2) part a prominent sector (10) intended to immobilize the device on the rail (200) as well as to facilitate its vertical extraction in if necessary, for example to carry out maintenance and repair operations, thus also being able to access the clamping screw (205).
10
The lower sheet (3), as already indicated, is disposed inferiorly to the slide (203) of the throat rail (200) and is linked to the respective lower housings (7) of the head profile (1) and the profile of throat (2).
15 Figure 4 shows the device linked to the throat rail (200), in an assembly phase prior to the installation of the track lining. Said coating is already in figure 5, in which the external appearance of the device is appreciated, in which the prominent sectors (9) allow the manipulation of the device without the need to remove the coating.
twenty
It is further contemplated the incorporation of a top layer of polyurethane elastomer, not shown in the attached figures, to seal the joint joints and prevent the entry of water and other debris
